FAQ
what is the best age for newborn photos?
A newborn photoshoot is best to take place between 5 and 14 days. They are generally so much more sleepy at this stage and naturally curl up to create those gorgeous newborn poses.
I can photograph babies up to 5/6 weeks however it gets harder to pose babies in the traditional newborn positions the older they get.
When should i book a newborn photoshoot?
Booking while you are still pregnant is essential to guarantee I will have space. I take a limited number of newborn bookings each month as their arrival is notoriously unpredictable. I take bookings from when you are 20 weeks pregnant.
If baby is already here do get in touch to see if I have any last minute availability. I sometimes do if a baby already booked has arrived early/late, and I will do my best to squeeze you in.
How do I book when I don't know when my baby will arrive?
I take your due date as a rough guide (we all know how accurate they actually are) and then you get back in touch when baby arrives and we can plan a date for the photoshoot.
Do I need to pay in full up front?
No, I take a 50% deposit to secure your due date, then you can pay the rest on the day of the photoshoot.
Do You work weekends?
I have limited weekend slots each month as at the moment my focus is my family. So if you do need a weekend slot let me know as soon as you can.
Can I buy extra digital images on top of the 1o included?
Absolutely. Any extra images are just £15 per digital and I offer a discounted amount of just £200 for the full gallery. (50+ photos)
